In a time where people don't worry about the curable diseases, the worry of pregnancy is taken away by the morning after pill, and during the one night stands finding out names don't even matter....
In times like this, it seems odd that the dangerous feelings would be those that would otherwise be the easiest to do...
What are the dangerous feelings you ask??
1. Hugging....Hugging seems like an easy task to do, but in all honestly hugging can evoke emotions that a person never thought they had. It can leave person yearning for more, craving more, and possibly feel like they've made a...friend.
2. Cuddling...cuddling is like hugging except it lasts longer. When a person starts to feel comfortable in anothers arms then that's when the getting attached could really start. Cuddling could lead to conversation, emotional attachment, and even wanting something real out of the other person..
3. Dinner...and a movie? Haha, anyone whose read Zane novel "Addicted" probably remembers that infamous scene where the woman gives the man oral sex using cheese, but this is not what I'm referring to. See, the movie part is meant for two people to do something together outside of the bedroom and take the ease off the uncomfortableness the two might feel. The dinner part is meant for (not to eat) but to have conversation. YES CONVERSATION..this is so two people can get together and find out if they are really compatible with each other, have the same goals in mind, etc.
4. Kissing of the lips..Yes, I said kissing. Kissing can evoke the deepest emotions and yes kissing can lead to fucking to....but kissing can lead to other emotions. Kissing can lead women to feel obligated to hug that man every time she sees him. Kissing can lead to a woman wanting to cook a man dinner (well that is if the kissing is good). Kissing can lead a man to (out of nowhere) just hold a woman (aka cuddling). Kissing can lead to two people getting together for a dinner and a movie. Kissing can lead to two people talking about their futures or even just nothing in particular (aka conversation). Kissing can evoke so many different things.
While fucking has become the norm because of songs like Birthday Sex or phrases like Fuck Friend, Sex Buddy and... while fucking has become just a normal act to erupt temporary pleasure to get a person through the week or even day....the real actions like hugging, cuddling, going out with a significant other, and kissing just seem like too much to do. They evoke too much, offer too much hope, good feelings (what could be long term good feelings)...they put a person's heart at risk...which leaves them DANGEROUS...
So, if dangerous is too much for you, maybe fucking is what you should stick to.
