Lyricist Lounge: Throwback Artists INOJ and Sugar Momma

Ayanna Porter, also known as INOJ, is an R&B/Bass Music singer who was born in 1976. Her debut single called "Love You Down" was released in 1997. After that she did several cover songs, including Cyndi Lauper's song "Time After Time." After a long break she released a song in 2008 titled "Baby You."

Many people have mistaken INOJ for another singer Sugar Momma, also known as Rayona B. Graham. In 1996 Sugar Momma's voice was featured on the hit song "My Boo" by Ghost Town DJ's. At the time Sugar Momma's voice could  also be heard on several other Miami Bass songs.

If you listen to both songs it's hard to tell the difference between the women's voices. For the longest I thought they were the same person.
