You ever hear the people that complain they never have time to do anything? Yeah, those same people used to tell me that I must have all the time in the world because I created a website and was writing. In fact, they didn't just see me writing. They saw me creating a social media presence so they claimed I had all this time in the world. Listen, it's far from the truth. Let's pretend you're the person that claims I have more of a life than you, so I can get this out.
You know how you work a full time job? I do too. You know how you have people that you have to cater to? Well, I do too. We have the same amount of time in the day. I just use it differently than you.
Then there's the other assumption that I'll write about them. Some of the most boring people on earth have told me not to write about them, but creating a post about them would be like watching paint dry. No one wants to read that.
Finally, there's the assumption that I must be a professional at what I do. I imagine if I was that damn good I'd be working at some television station or newspaper by now. I'd even like to think that people would purposely be sending press releases my way, but there's a lot more work to be done before that starts happening. Sometimes I know just as much as everyone else. Actually because of that 9 to 5 that's currently a swing shift (3 to midnight) others know everything before me if they're paying attention, but those same people are usually asking me to tell them what all is going on.
