#Blogtober14 10 Things I Did To Motivate Myself To Blog

All I Need In This Life of Mine...
Blogtober14 is turning out to be more fun than I expected. There are tons of new great blogs to follow. Anyone that has known me since I was little knows that I live to read and gain new knowledge from others. What is life without knowing what anyone else thinks? Well, today's topic is all about what I told myself to start up this blog and keep it going. This one will be done in list form.

1. Someone will read this and love it.
2. You want to be a writer, so stop being scared and expose yourself to more than teachers and friends.
3. The ones that don't understand won't read this anyway. They are not your audience.
4. Not everyone will like what you write, but the fact that they keep coming back means something positive.
5. Keep doing this and you'll get better with time.
6. Don't quit under pressure like others do.

I want to explain number six a little more. Word around the internet is upon starting up a blog, it'll take at least six months to see results. Not everyone sees results in even a year though and they tend to forget the reason behind wanting to start. They forget their passion for writing and quit because the numbers aren't where they would like them to be. Now I'm going to go away from the rule a little. The next four all what I've had to tell myself to keep blogging and not quit.

7. You didn't start this up for the money.
8. You have to learn to balance living out your passions with what society says you're supposed to be doing as a responsible adult.
9. Whatever you do, don't give in to the stress.
10. It'll all work out.

Now I'm looking forward to reading what all the other bloggers post up.
