Black Women and Plastic Surgery/ Real Housewives of Atlanta

On October 25th NeNe Leakes went in for plastic surgery on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. The surgeries she received were a nose job, breast reduction, breast lift, and liposuction. Many watched the show and criticized her actions.

 During some parts of the show she seemed to be having the surgery to look better. On other parts it seemed like she was having it to distract herself from the stress of her marriage. However, the main reason doesn't matter because according to the November issue of Essence Magazine it is normal for black women to get plastic surgery done.
